Louise Kramer is a qualified Clinical Psychologist specialising in the Art of Mindfulness, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Couple Therapy.  Known for her personal, down-to-earth and engaging style, Louise works with adults, couples and children with a wide range of issues, including:  

  • Anxiety & stress
  • Depression & mood
  • Relationship problems & Couples Therapy
  • Separation & divorce
  • Child problems & parenting
  • Trauma & childhood trauma
  • Personality issues
  • Dementia

Louise’s passion is to demystify and simplify Psychology theory and skills to be easy to access, understand and apply to everyday living; and to help her clients to achieve efficient and independent self-mastery of skills.

Louise’s goal ultimately is to help her clients to live with conscious awareness to make active choices to live meaningful lives in tune with their true values.

Therapy is skills based, time limited and solutions focused to deal with issues as they arise in the here and now.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Louise is an experienced Mindfulness practitioner.

Louise’s formal training was in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy at the University of Sydney while undertaking a Masters of Clinical Psychology. Louise has also completed a Masters in Industrial and Organisational Psychology at the University of NSW.

Louise is an experienced Clinician having worked in private practice since 2007 and prior to that in the public health system (Concord Hospital, the Children’s Hospital Randwick, Westmead Hospital and Merrylands Community Health Centre) and in teaching Masters students (University of Sydney and UNSW).

Louise is a Medicare registered Clinical Psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society Board of Clinical Psychologists.

FEES & AVAILABILITY

The fee is $180 per session. Medicare rebates apply for clients referred by their GP (under a Mental Health Care Plan) of $126.50 per session for up to 10 sessions per year. Alternatively, some of the fee may be claimed against your Private Health Care Fund.

Appointments can be made during normal business hours of 8am to 5.30pm, after hours on Mondays and Tuesdays, and on Saturdays.
