Louise provides assessment, counselling and therapy services for adults,
children and their families for most issues including depression, anxiety
disorders, stress, sleep problems, relationship issues, couple therapy,
adjustment difficulties, addictive behaviours, anger control, pain management,
eating disorders, parenting and child problems.

Louise is a fully qualified Clinical Psychologist having completed an Honours
degree (4 years) and a Masters degree (2 years) in Clinical Psychology at the
University of Sydney. Louise is a full member of the College of Clinical
Psychologists of the Australian Psychological Society. Louise holds a second
Masters degree (Applied) (2 years) in Industrial and Organisational
Psychology from the University of New South Wales

Louise's experience includes having worked in private practice, in the public
health care system and teaching - Concord Hospital, the Children's Hospital
Randwick, Westmead Hospital (Redbank House), Merrylands Community Health
Centre, the University of Sydney and the UNSW.

Louise specialises in providing evidence based treatments such as
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). CBT is time-limited, skills based and
problem focused, to help the individual change their thinking, mood and
behaviour, to live a more meaningful life in tune with their values. Louise also
has experience and works in the areas of Mindfulness based techniques,
Schema Therapy for character issues and Collaborative Couple Therapy.

Louise is a registered Medicare provider for Clinical Psychologist specialist
items and Work Cover provider.

The fee is $165 per 60 minute session. Under Medicare, a rebate of $124.50 per
session (for up to 10 visits per year) is available for people with a diagnosable
psychological condition (some exclusions apply) and an appropriate referral by
a Doctor (under a "GP Mental Health Care Plan") or a referral by a Psychiatrist
or Paediatrician.

Louise can provide week day, evening and Saturday appointments. If you wish to
discuss your situation with Louise or to make an appointment, please do not
hesitate to call. A referral is not necessary.
